Anaheim is located 28 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles, and 90 miles north of San Diego. The city is located in Orange County, and is well connected to the rest of the world by Orange County's John Wayne Airport and numerous other airports in the region. Amtrak and Metrolink both serviced the area for coast-to-coast travel and commuting needs.

Anaheim enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with an average temperature of 70 degrees and around 9.8 inches of rain per year. There is no snow in Anaheim but if your desire is to hit the slopes there are a variety of mountain resorts available within a short driving distance. If you are more inclined towards the beach and sand you'll find that Anaheim is located only 13 miles from the Pacific Coastline.

A twenty-mile bike trail along the Santa Ana River all the way to the beach is only one of the many activities you can enjoy in Anaheim. In addition, there are several beautiful and challenging golf courses, a small lake stocked for fishermen, many public parks and recreational facilities, tennis clubs, and horse trails.

Anaheim is best known as the home of Disneyland and now Disney's California Adventure. Anaheim is also home to Downtown Disney which offers shopping, nightlife, and restaurants for visitors and locals.
