Westminster was incorporated in 1957 as a bedroom community to the aerospace, industrial and commercial centers of L. A. County. Residential growth brought large tracts of single family homes, apartments and mobile home parks to Westminster and commercial areas developed along the major boulevards.

Westminster is home for the West Orange County Municipal Courthouse, the beautiful Westminster Mall and pleasant residential neighborhoods, parks, churches and schools.
